Working at Faith Lutheran Church in Lehigh Acres since January 2016, Pastor Jhon Freddy Correa is a pastor (re) developer and mission developer of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). He is a previous Vice-President of the Association of Hispanic Ministries of the ELCA, which serves the United States, including Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
Pastor Jhon has been called to lead the team that is building up the existing English-speaking congregation and starting up a LatinX congregation/ministry. He is interested in developing/forming a healthy congregation - with an emphasis on children, youth and families. At Faith, we are in the process of exploring the reality of being a multicultural congregation in a multicultural country. Pastor Jhon believes we can lead the way and become a nationwide example for bringing new life to the Lutheran Church in America.
Pr. Jhon has been uniquely blessed by being formed by three different Christian denominations (Roman Catholic, Old [Orthodox] Catholic, and Lutheran). He also served in the city of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for two years as a priest in the Old Catholic Church in America.
Jhon loves spending time with his wife (Liliana) and son (Mateo). He enjoys a day at the beach, listening to all kinds of music, and reading about Pedagogy, Multiculturalism, History, Leadership Skills, Psychology, Liberation Theology, Acculturation, and Multicultural Life. Pr. Jhon considers himself to be a powerful leader, and he loves to work with people who have claimed their power to transform communities into better places for all.

Lisa Peters is our Church Financial Secretary since November 2012. Lisa was born in Michigan and moved with her family as a child to Lehigh Acres in 1979. She attended Lehigh Elementary, Lehigh Middle and Riverdale High School. She holds two degrees from the University of South Florida: Bachelor's in business management and a Master's in Education.
Lisa and her husband Richard are the proud parents of Natalie and Darian. Lisa enjoys reading and gardening. She is an avid movie watcher. She has a passion for her many furry pets.

Johanna Figueroa has been part of Faith since 2017 serving in many ministries.
She is working hard to be a great church administrator for her congregation and is excited to start working on new and exciting ideas. She'll be in the office from 8:30am-12:30pm Monday - Thursday ready to assist in both English and Spanish. Call or email the office for anything you may need.

I grew up in Northeast Ohio in a small town where, in 1994, I became an associate pastor of my small home church. I then served as pastor for nearly 20 years while working bi-vocationally as a product development supervisor in the chemical industry. In 2014, we moved to Florida for multiple reasons and currently work in Medical Records at Lee Health (through CIOX Health) and serve as the Interim Music Minister at Faith. I enjoy computers, music, and snorkeling (although only having gone a few times). My passion is my family: wife, Carrie, daughters, Micayah and Alina, and granddaughter, Bellamy.
